Crochet star pillow pattern

Materials:

• 8 mm crochet hook
• 8 mm blanket yarn (weight 5 or 6)
• Polyester fill
• Stitch marker
• Yarn needle
• 4 mm acrylic yarn in black and white (weight 4) and crochet hook to suit

Going back to round 8, count 3 stitches from the last stitch of round 9, then repeat rounds 9-16 another 4 times (beginning in that 3rd stitch) so you have a total of 5 points on your star.

Hold bold stars together so the wrong sides face each other. Beginning at the top of one point, sc around the outside of the stars (through both stars).
Before finishing sc around the stars, add stuffing so the pillow is firm. Finish the sc and ss into the first sc you made. (Add a bit more stuffing before finishing so the final point has enough stuffing).

Position the eyes onto one side of the pillow, ensuring the white sections are both pointing to the top of the star.
Once you’re happy with the positioning, sew into place.
